Taiwanese and Japanese Experts Gather at Tamkang University to Explore the Latest Advances in Innovative Cancer Treatment BNCT

Tamkang University recently held the ‘6th Taiwan-Japan Neutron Capture Therapy Academic Conference of Elite (TJNCT-ACE)’, gathering over a hundred Taiwanese and Japanese scholars and presenting 19 papers. The conference focused on Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT), comprehensively exploring the latest advances in innovative cancer treatment from basic science, engineering technology to clinical applications. The organizer, Professor Pan Bo-Shen from the Department of Chemistry, pointed out that BNCT can precisely destroy cancer cells and has shown efficacy against various cancers such as malignant brain tumors, opening a new chapter for cancer treatment in Taiwan.
