Tamkang University Collaborates with New Taipei City Education Bureau: Science Day Invites Elementary and Middle School Students to ‘Experience Sustainability’

Associate Professor Deng Jinpei from the Department of Chemistry led a student team, collaborating with the Education Bureau, National Science Council, Taiwan Power Company, BenQ Materials Corporation, and the Data Sense Lab to jointly organize the ‘2025 New Taipei Science Day – Magic Box of Light.’ The event invited 500 teachers and students from various junior high schools, elementary schools, and high schools in New Taipei City, and took place on May 29 at the Banqiao Taipei South District Office of Taiwan Power Company. Deng Jinpei stated that the event integrates technology, science, and art to create a cross-disciplinary STEAM education demonstration field, allowing students to seamlessly connect learning with life and experience the wonders of science in everyday life.
