The 2024 National Chemistry Conference was held at Tamkang University, with 2,000 people gathering for exchange and interaction.

The Department of Chemistry will host the 2024 National Chemistry Conference from March 29 to 31, which is the largest annual event for the chemistry community in Taiwan. To align with the university’s development goals, the theme of this year’s conference is ‘ESG+AI=∞’. The organizers have arranged 4 plenary lectures, 48 session presentations with 208 speakers from both domestic and international institutions, and 824 poster presentations. Over 100 students have registered for the research paper competition. In addition to academic research related to chemistry, the topics also include industry-academia collaboration, science popularization, education, and patents. During the lunch break, the Chinese Chemical Society’s general meeting will be held to discuss the future development direction of Taiwan’s chemistry community.
