1. Course Introduction

This department emphasizes both experiment and theory.The goal is to cultivate scientific and technological talents with theoretical basis and applied technology. Teach students to learn self-independent thinking, and then further to expand the basic theory and application.

Chemistry and Biochemistry:

This courses is based on the development of modern science and technology for the design of the main, first and second grade to the basic course of chemistry-based, third and fourth grade to biology, molecular biology, microbiology, pharmaceutical chemistry and genetic engineering, Cultivate future Biochemistry talents.

Material chemistry:

This course is based on the development of modern science and technology for the design of the main, first and second grade to the basic course of chemistry-based, third and fourth grade to materials chemistry, nano-materials, optoelectronic materials, polymer chemistry and solid chemical, Cultivate future materials and chemistry talents.

Course Design

1.Chemistry compulsory courses: including general chemistry, organic chemistry, instrumental analysis and physical chemistry courses.
2.Special studies: Students can choose a special studies under the guidance of the professor, enter the research laboratory, study the experimental design and operation.
3.Book discussion: fourth grade students compulsory, instructed by different areas of teachers, training papers writing, data search and the ability to report on a separate basis.
4.Experimental Lessons: Experimental operations are based on individuals, reduce dependency, develop their own skills to practice, and meet the needs of employment or training.
5.Lecture courses: Each semester to invite domestic and foreign scholars to teach personal areas of expertise for students to provide a broader perspective.

7. Off-Campus Internship for Students

To enhance chemistry students’ practical knowledge and professional competencies, and to cultivate their ability to apply what they learn, this program aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application while improving graduates’ employability. Through collaboration with industry-academia alliances, students are offered integrated chemical expertise and skill-based training via off-campus internships prior to graduation.
